Looks Fishy :eek2:went out of Lynnhaven at 1:00am Sat morning with Skunker (Rob) and our new HO, Al. To the high rise!! Set up to drift eels, but one pass yielded nada. So, we got in the line up and anchored along side the other 20 or so boats on the east side. Got 2 fish between 3and 4:30am. first was Al, who reeled in a 42 in, 35lb fish. Then around 4:30, Rob got a 37", 28lb fish. Nothing else there, except for people trolling who can't see. (A different story!) Picked up and moved to #18 to drift eels at about 6:00am. Got set up and at about 6:45am, I get on the reel that has line just peeing off. Finally get the drag set and begin working the fish in. Rob gets the net and we boat a 47"43lb striper. Figured we had our limit, the seas were getting sloppier, and the crowds were gonna get worse, so we headed back in, glad to miss the chaos surely to happen later in the day. Cruised in at 25mph, stayed dry and we did not get beat up too much. We felt bad for the folks going out in little boats, given that the weather man missed missed again.
