Hell, you claim to work in the pentagon. How about if you try to find some one who can explain guerrilla tactics to you. You must have forgotten how it was done in Vietnam.

Theories of Mao
Mao Zedong, during the Chinese civil war, summarized the Red Army's principles of warfare in the following points for his troops: The enemy advances, we retreat. The enemy camps, we harass. The enemy tires, we attack. The enemy retreats, we pursue. Mao made a distinction between Mobile warfare (yundong zhan) and Guerrilla Warfare (youji zhan), but they were part of an integrated continuum aiming towards a final objective. Michael Collins of the Irish Republican Army, who orchestrated the Anglo-Irish warof 1919-1921, had a more succinct principle behind his campaign of intelligence, assassination, and propaganda: create "bloody mayhem". Mao's seminal work. On Guerilla Warfare, has been widely distributed and applied, successfully in Vietnam, under military leader and theorist Vo Nguyen Giap . Giap's "Peoples War, Peoples Army" closely follows the Maoist three-stage approach.

 Damn you are stupid. The urban environment is equally suited if not better suited for guerrilla warfare. If you knew anything at all about tactics you would understand that. A$$hole.

Didn't you claim to have been Army intelligence at one point? If that is the case I don't think Army intelligence would claim you.

Any one who is more familiar with Ann Coulter's work than Mao's military strategy has no business in the intelligence community.

80% reduction from what? From when Saddam was in power or from when we 'liberated' the country. How long are we going to keep the troop levels there necessary to achieve this reduction?
