Beats the old zip-tie method . Great for wreck and rock fishing :
Anchor Saver
Didn't you read my post ? Better than the zip-tie method and reusable . The link to buy them is right next to the video box . As much as I fish around rocky structure , that thing will do wonders for me . I got stuck on the south jetty in OC last year . I tied off to the stern cleat and proceeded to pull with the motor . I wasn't very deep and when the anchor finally popped free , it rebounded back at the boat so fast that the chain hit the prop:eek2: , damaging it pretty good . It was a wonder the darn thing didn't come in the boat and decapitate me . I've heard plenty of similar stories that didn't end so well .:yes:Thats cool, but havn't people been doing the same basic thing for years with a thick zip-tie?
I think that we are missing something here. There is no post that I can see. Without the post , goinsfishin question sounds right to me, same as a zip tie.Didn't you read my post ? Is it "reusable" or do you have to purchase those pins? Looks like the smallest one is $59 plus $9 for a 3 pack of "pins". If you have to replace one of those $3 pins each time it looks like it could get quite a bit more expensive then Zip-ties.Didn't you read my post ? Better than the zip-tie method and reusable .
My apologies.....I focused on the video and missed the first line....oops.Didn't you read my post ?
