I'am getting itchy early and need a fix. Wife pitched my stack of fishing show and mags stuff. Luck for me she left the Victoria Secreats winter edition :thumbup:

Solomons Fishing Fair - March 28 & 29, 2009

Talking with Georgie from Tylers Tackle, he made the decision to cancel this years based on the lack of response from the vendors. Seems many vendors are experiencing a slow business based on the ecomony. Aren't we all :yes: with no Congressional bailout in sight for tackle shops, boat sales, and the like.
Sad, because the Equestrian show was growing and quickly becoming a traditional mid-winter "must appear".

yep, tri-state is a good show. i'll be there selling my large detailed laminated charts of the CBBT, they show: where to, how to, when to. last year i sold out quick and only have about 20 this year. plus i have 3 abu garcia cardinal reels in like to new condition.

Yes the Equestrian Show was cancelled and I am sure that the economy had something to do with the cancellation but being the optomistic person I am, I believe the lack of rooms in the area due to the inauguration caused a lot of the out of town vendors to pass this year.
Since there are no shows in January, Tylers Tackle is opening and having an in house sale of all items in the store plus special order parachutes for delivery in February and March. Nothing big or fancy but a good way to kill a few hours and talk fishing. I will be there both weekends to talk about catching fish. Dates are Jan. 10 and 11 as well as Jan. 17 and 18, 2009 from 6:00 am till 4:00 pm. As always, Georgie is always available by cell at 443.624.1787.
