Found this with new sidescan unit. North of bridge in 30 feet of water.



Not on any charts ( that I could find ) - thinking there are likely few anchors on it. Sidescan shows a few very " bright " spots - that could be metal.

Hoping to dive it in next few weeks - be interesting to hear guesses before I go down there to figure it out.

I dove it - but incoming current was already moving.

Managed to get down to it - viz. was less then 3 inches - so had to go by feel.

It is 100% steel - felt a few rounded posts about 5-6 inch dia. - perhaps mooring pins ?

Got two anchors off it - but then current was too strong.

Hope to try again - one thing for sure - no old gold ladden wood treasure ship.
