Yeah, he's a yank, but he's a good striper fisherman. Pretty fair bottom fisher too. If I remember right he has more than a couple of IGFA records caught on that boat.
I should have said in my opinion. But last winter he caught 5 fish over 50lbs just fishing long weekends in the Va area.
Currently 8 world records have been registered with Captain Timmy at the helm.

We are fishing out of Cape Charles and will be eeling. We are fishing the catch and release area as far as I know. I am just a guy who booked the charter and one of my clients from work bailed. I am trying to recover costs and I figured someone on here may want to go.
Either way you guys are very insecure of outsiders. I know you may find this surprising but there are great Striper fisherman up and down the east coast. I actually only fished with Timmy twice but I can recognize a good Striper fisherman when I see one.

Capt. Timmy is a great capt. and will put you on the fish. I guess a lot of people don't like the fact that he is coming from NJ. Its not like he is taking clients from the va charters. Most his charters are from Jersey, and Pa. Wish I could go
The main reason I booked Timmy is he does the style of fishing I like. He jigs and eels and does not troll. I don't know any Va boats in that area that don't troll. I'd love reccomedations for the future. I do appreciate local knowledge.
I have fished with Donnie from DOA charters and he does a great job and is a great fisherman.
