Staying at Hatteras this weekend til over the Thanksgiving holiday. Brought the kayaks down with the hope of getting out. Looks like the winds are not going to cooperate -- looking at the forecast, it seems Sunday afternoon and early Monday morning might be our best chance. Rest of the week is supposed to be 20+ winds.

I'm going to go stir crazy if I have to sit in the house the rest of the week. Any one fishing the back bays and need a ho or two?

Arrived this afternoon to 30+ mph gust, cold as hell. The local station had a story about Elizabeth City getting a coating of snow and closing schools. What happened to global warming?

Thanks!!!

Yep, I'm an EC teacher.
They closed the schools and gave us a day off, and the problem is it was to dam cold to fish.
How are your yaks set up?

Sit on or in, if they are sit on, you will have a cold soggy bottom!

Welcome 2 my nightmare.

Every time I plan a fishing trip the storm of the century parks off the coast!

I was in a fishing tournament a few weeks back and this is what happened,…..

Find a good book, rent some movies.
If that don't work write me back and I'll take you on a tour of the PR.
