Simon and I are heading down Wed night to fish Thurs, Fri and possibly Sat. Not sure yet whether we will head for Kipto or VA Beach. Water temp at the CBBT is hovering around cold.

IF the forecast stays true, I will shoot for friday gonna fish the ocean for some meat though. My boat is down there already Nemo, your more than welcome to hop on board. I havnt begun to round up a crew yet.

Always a possibility. Found a few $40 hotel rooms right around Rudee, never fished out of VA Bch before, always Kipto. Given the level of wintertime activity in Va. Bch. proper, I'm wondering if finding a parking space at the Owl Creek ramp on a weekend will be an issue. I'm leaning toward weekdays just to be safe.

Kipto!?

I have fished out of Rudee on a charter but have never been to Owl Creek but it will be crowded. I went out last Monday the 12th and it was a pretty snotty day and there were still a ton of boats out there. Lynnhaven could be an option. Kipto will be wide open and there SHOULD be fish on or around the bridge. The direction I think I would head would be good out of Kipto as well and unless you want to go to NC it is only about an extra 8 miles to Cape Henry.

On second thought weather is looking so good, Hatteras for tuna might be an option for Friday...
