I have never used poly glow but I have used Vertglas, probably similar products. Prep is everything. I sanded the hull starting with 800 grit, 1200 grit and 1600 grit, washed the hull, compounded the hull and washed again. Applied as per instructions. It sealed the fiberglass so good that Dawn for dishes cleanes the diesel soot off the transom. The shine lasted for 2 seasons. I just cleaned the hull again and reapplied the Vertglas, it still looks good. A lot of work but if done correctly looks good and lasts. If it streaks 1)you did it wrong, 2) apply some more, it flows together and takes the streaks away, 7 or 8 very thin coats are better than 1 or 2 thick ones.
