Hey guys I havn't been fishing in, jeeze, almost a month. With the predicted nice weather upon us would anyone be interested in giving the Severn a shake somewhere. I got me some waders and the Miss SRRKC has been awfully lonely this year so we could launch her to if Weems is de-iced. Let me know what ya'll think I'll be up for any afternoon this week for sure.

As of noon yesterday, the Weems Creek ramp and that portion of the creek were clear. The ice started upstream from the Rowe Blvd bridge. After today's mild weather, more of the creek should be open.

Fellas I gave Weems a shake yesterday way up near the head waters. Quite a bit of shoreline was open, I would guess maybe 500 or so yards. I casted for roughly an hour and a half with one short strike (I think) and that was it. There is still quite a bit of ice up that way and the area I was fishing was definetly off limit from boats approaching from the Severn, just totaly iced in. Anyway I'm gonna try to get out another time before weeks end but i'm starting to think the Weems Pickeral drought is continuing.
