I was just sitting here wondering where to go to catch a rock. I am not in the tourny. The last few years they did not show up until Dec. but everything I read says to try the inlet in mid-October. I really have no idea!

Hey... if you wanna catch a rock, put a 6 ounce bank sinker on your line and cast into the inlet... ;-)

Residents are around the bridge and jetty... this TX has categories for flounder, tog, blues and an open category... the bigger money goes to rockfish though...

it was not a good tx (catch wise) this year...17 boats,,,aprox 100 anglers and 1 blue, 1 tog, 1 flounder and an eel were weighed in... No rock:(---very dirty water

Ha, yea, I fished Saturday morning and made the call that I wasn't gonna rough it since the water was bad and the wind wasn't slowing down anytime soon.

Water temps are falling fast... I saw 55 on the inlet tide station....
