Mark,What time were you there?I was there form 10:30 till about 1.There was a decent crowd yesterday, there were some AWESOME deals, but it was disappointing in that I went to see a specific boat that was not there...did fall in love with the 34 Parker though! Trying to get a contingent to chip in on one...ha:thumbup:
I agree with that...I actually asked the salesman, and he said you really should never run the boat from that, and I asked him then what's the point...he said you could see through the front windshield but not safe to run. Nice as hell though!Went friday afternoon and it was very slow. The 34' parker is one he!! of a boat but the second station behind the cabin on the left seemed pointless.
Those Everglades are pretty sweet. One of the boats on the short list if I ever decide to more up. I really like the 243cc. They seem to be well thought out boats.Went Friday afternoon to avoid the crowds and it worked beautifully.
The 35' Everglades was a work of art. It's sick when the price reduction on that boat for the show is more than I can afford outright. $75K reduction for the show. Ouch. The finish on the livewell looked like a hot tub.
Think I need to stay in the 21' Carolina Skiff range from Ed's.
One question, how do you mount rod holders on a DLV?
Chris
I'd have to sell my house 3 times. Once to pay off the mortgage and twice to buy the boat. That 35 everglade was amazing. If I sold my house............ OOPS, back to reality. 5th (Marty)
Heck in a month we'll be fishing!!!Two months and we will be prepping for spring trophy season.
I'm looking at the 21 DLV too. Did Beacon Light have one at the show ? Did anybody get a price from them ? Last year, Ed's quoted me $17.5K for boat, motor, and trailer w/ a 115 Suzuki. I understand that they upgraded the standard trailer since last year and they went to the 140 Suzi as the standard, but I haven't gotten a recent price.Went Friday afternoon to avoid the crowds and it worked beautifully.
