Took the girlfriend and three of her friends fishing Sat. Left OC at 6 am and headed south. Curtains from Mikes Marine made this trip possible for the girlfriend. His craftsmanship is second to none. We ended up at corolla light running head on into the OI charters. Talking to them on the radio made me point er north, barren wasteland below that they had seen. Ended up at the NC line at the 3 mile mark and caught our limit before noon. Two triples. Biggest 37lbs and 46 inches. Stayed away from the fleet with the fish as they moved south. Girlfriend had a blast. Class of fish was pretty small with a few big ones mixed in.

Fished today with both my brothers and a buddy. Started at the VB/NC line and wound up with nothin. Found the fish with the OI fleet 1/2 mile off the beach at Corolla light. MUCH bigger class of fish today. Once we hit the bait jigged the rods and they came crashing down. Found the fish at 9 limit by 1030 not one under 20 lbs. Biggest 45 inches 35lbs. Tried to call some TF's down there dont know how they did.

Even threw out a bunker spoon had three weights on it kinda rocked back and forth and that got a big fish.

Good couple of days nice fishing with everyone.

Congratulations. We fished out of OI on Saturday and ended up about the same place with similar results. 2 Citations. Guess some fish are moving south!
