Started the day at O dark thirty to use up some of the frozen chum I had left. Picked up a few eels and caught some nice bait. Headed out to chum the morning away from the crowd. Started slow then noticed a 34-36 inch cobia (too small to mess with) swimming around the boat checking out my chum. The had a good run on one of my bottom rigs. Fought it for about 15 minutes when my knot broke. Nobody to blame but me for that one:52: Unfortunately, no other big stuff just blues and an occasional unknown. The funny part was that the small cobia stayed with my boat for over an hour even with all the commotion. Oh well, a few small blues for dinner it is.
