Went out alone this morning out of Solomons fishing off my 36ft sailboat under diesel.
Fished from 9:00 till 1:30 no luck.
Started to check the lines for grass......and the dummy line came up with a 41 inch.

I never knew it was there. I have no idea how long he was on there.
I was all alone and that was a very big fish to be pulling aboard with about 4 feet of freeboard.
I got him in the net and dragged him up and over.

That was the biggest rock I ever caught in my life.
And it was a lot of work for one old guy.

My other lines were umbrellas with 8oz and no hits on them.
The dummy was. of course, way down.

Would that mean that I should have a lot more weight on at least one of the umbrellas?
