Two excellent places to learn the craft of boatbuilding are Chesapeake Light Craft, Annapolis and Wooden Boat School in Brooklin, Maine. Both schools are now in partnership. I highly recommend the second one if only for the coastal Maine family experience of a lifetime. The instruction is top-notch and registration for 2009 is available Jan 2.
