I went to the boat show like I do every year but this time I intended on buying.....
no such luck....in my opinion the prices were awful....
The guy at norfolk marine said they had a good day on saturday but I didn't see
any sold signs.
I guess I'll make some offers on leftover 07's and 08's. Its hard to think about being
boatless for the first time in 12 years but it may happen.
Did anybody buy a new boat????

I picket up the 32 regulator with the trip 350's. Then I woke up and looked at my 19'. Oh well, enjoyed seeing the bling. Dis anyone notice the deal the Parker dudes were trying to work up? I thought the deal on the 23' pilot house was great and that was with a line struck through the price.

Boat Show

Christine,

Not sure what you are looking for but Brown's marine on Shore drive has access to left over Sea Pro boats. Brunswick shut down the manufacturing facility but they are nice reliable boats. I have a 22 walk and have not had any issues at all with this boat. Purchased it in Aug 2004.

Gilbert,

Before the boat show I looked at one of them. It's a leftover 2007 model but the salesman
seems to think because the extended warranty on the motor is in place the year didn't matter... my feeling was that the boat is no longer in production and both the boat and motor are two years old should have a large bearing on the price....maybe that only
counts when reselling the boat....

Take a look at my boat for sale

:thumbup:I am not sure what you are looking for but I have my 24' Clearwater posted on Craigslist asking just the bank pay off. Extremely nice wlak-a-round hardtop with a single 300 hp hpdi and it is a wide beam boat. Comes with a list of amenities.Type in Clearwater and I believe it was posted Jan. 27th or so.

the deals are there, but the finacing is where they get you unless you pay cash of course...I think our interest rate was like 6 or maybe a little less on the new one we just got, but the used ones HA I guess they don't want to sell or the banks to scared. it was like 12% and 5years, that is fine for an entrylevel boat but once you get up around 100g whew....

I went there to look at new electronics, but there was not even one vendor for that. Walked for 5 minutes saw the whole show became bored and left. I appreciate the effort but the show has gone downhill over the last few years, I'm sure because of the economy.

I looked at them also but who ever heard of molding the leaning post into the deck.....
I want pedestal seating and sure can convert that....I like trophy boats, had one for eight years and would like the 1902 but the prices are just stupid.....

That's one of the reasons i turned the boat down..... But i think they did that for that huge baitwell they installed. I also didn't like the fact that there was only 2 gunnel rod holders on the entire boat and im a big fan of gunnel rod holders.
