am looking into maybe buying a boat next year.would a 22' sea pro work in the above conditions,it has a 200 hp ob on it.not looking to go way out in ocean.also would appreciate any info that you may have as to boat types and fishing ability.thanks in advance.really cant afford a big boat,something around $25000 or less.

If you don't mind a cc,the 21ft.Triumph is a good valued deep V.

offshore the heavier the better and only a deep V.

Fuel Capacity and heavy hull with a deep V is needed especially if you are planning any runs off Virginia. I got a 23 foot Robalo and the fuel capacity is only 123 gallons so I generally carry 40 gallons extra when running out of Rudee. Seapros don't carry much of a transom V. Karl

I agree with the above. Deep V (24 degrees is great) and a heavy boat. Look around. New isn;t necessarily the answer. There's a lot of good used boats that will do the job nicely for the bucks you're looking to spend.
