Left dock at 6:30 lines in at 7am 12 rods..... Winds 12--16 out of the west were supprisingly not to bad...worked the area out in front of parkers had a knock down at 8:30 couple reeks and gone....saw a lot of bait in 38-44 feet of water but no fish.... Moved out towards 78 pulled the starboard side lines to check for jellies and they were 50/50 fouled.... As I was cleaning heard a clip break looked over and closest rod to the boat was bent way over and zipping drag..... And I keep my drag tight.... Single 2oz 40 off the clip.... Bring in a nice 41 get rod reset and circle back..... Wind and seas had picked up drastically In 20 min checked fish weather and gooses was recording 25 mph so made the decision to pull um and head in...... Man I've had enough of this wind

Got to love a fish hitting that close to the boat.

Congrats on getting a keeper in the " snotty " conditions.
