Neither...personally, I'd spend another $10 and get a Shimano Sahara 2500 or 3000. More than 3 oz lighter, faster gear ratio (so when your drifting by pilings and make a bad cast or drift, you can more quickly get the jig back in the strike zone). For me, less weight with fast gearing is ESSENTIAL. Just my $.02

I bought one a few years ago for guests to use. In the 30 size. It has several fish over 40" to it's credit, and many hundreds of smaller. For $40, it's hard to beat. Not as beefy as a Sahara or Spheros, but if you fight the fish with the rod rather than the reel, you'll be fine.

I have a 40 and my brother-in-law has a 50. Both get the job done. They are a decent deal. They seem to hold up pretty well. The one I have is going on 4 years now. All I do is rinse with soapy water after each use.
