I had a few friends come in town this afternoon. They will be out on the Anna Lynn out of Rudee tomorrow, but after hearing my report from yesterday they wanted to try their luck. We loaded the boat and left Little Creek around 230. Put lines in near the CH buoy...worked out to the 3 mile line and then South to near Rudee, then back North. Very little bait, no bird activity and NO FISH. The fishing has been very hit/miss this year. We had a very pleasant ride back to little creek and made it to happy hour at our favorite watering hole to down a few cold ones. Hope the boys get 'em tomorrow!!

That basically sums up the season. You are either in the right place at the right time or you aren't. Slow picks usually mean skunks.

That's fishing - Hero to Zero, or the other way around. Pete and I were laughing about it yesterday... burinin' their a$$es one day, and none at the same spot, same tide, same time the next. My Grandfather's explaination: "The got tails son".

Give me a holler.
