It was not fast and furious, but, we did have a good day with a limit of four fish totaling 80 lbs while fishing the cape between noon and four p.m. There must have been close to seven hundred boats out there today. Too bad that the tempers flared somewhat due to inconsiderent boat captains who did know how to troll with consideration of others. In one instance, a charter captain tried to push me off of the bait pod that I was fishing. He was running when he saw us hook up and then hauled back on the gas and stopped right beside me. He then proceded to mover closer and closer to me so as to attempt to push me off of the bait pod that I was fishing. He actually came within twenty feet of my boat. This was the "Gitther Done" or something similar. Sad, isn't it that someone should act this way!

I tend not to post much...but thought I would on this day. I was headed in around 10:30am this morning and was concerned for my life. It seems to me that people think that just because they have GPS.... they can run on a plane in the fog. I was almost hit 3 three times from people on plane and not paying attention. Coming to the entrance bouy at Lesner I was far right in the channel and two boats pushed me out of it because they couldn't see the markers and thinking they were correct. As I passed these guys I gave them hand motions to move over and they looked at me like I was crazy. Well I'm the boat with a 48 mile radar in rotation. I can see you, I can see the markers and you couldn't see me until it was too late.

Sorry.....I just had to vent!
