Capt Dave,
I couldn't make the meeting last week ( wife's b-day ). If tonight goes well with the last minute electronics work on the boat I am fishing tomorrow. Anything I need to do, like call committe on radio........etc. What channel are we monitoring?

Thanks,
Pete

chesbay,
Capt. Dave may be away from his computer so I thought I would point you to the NNAC website listed below:

http://www.chesapeake-fishing.com/nnac/rules.htm

It gives all of the rules for the tourney. In short, you do not have to call or check in at the start, but fish need to be weighed at one of the 9 locations listed, which have our NNAC forms for the tournaments.
Good luck.
Tom

The NWS forecast this morning says:

"ANZ630-631-202315-
/O.NEW.KAKQ.SC.Y.0059.060520T1700Z-060520T2300Z/
CHESAPEAKE BAY FROM SMITH POINT TO WINDMILL POINT VA-
CHESAPEAKE BAY FROM WINDMILL POINT TO NEW POINT COMFORT VA-
410 AM EDT SAT MAY 20 2006

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THIS EVENING..."

Does this mean the tournament is rescheduled?

There was a SCW for the Potomac starting at 9am which caused the tournament to be rescheduled. This is a small boat club and the postponement rule is to discourage members from going out when conditions might be unsafe. The postponement was announced on the VHF radio, but members are also required to know the weather status and act accordingly as provided in the rules. Dave
