What is the rule for charters . . . can the captain and/or mate keep any fish on a paid charter in the Chesapeake this time of year?

I think the boat is allowed one fish but the captain and mate are not allowed any on a paid charter.

If it is just friends-then I think they can keep a limit.

In Va. waters - the capt/mate are allowed to keep a limit.

---ONE Boat fish is allowed on a Md. Charterboat during the Regular Season --( NONE IN TROPHY)--This boat fish is to be Consumed by the Capt. or Mate --Not to be given to the party , as it would cause a OVER Possession for the Angler ---Many including Myself do not fill this option , but keep it open for a unexpected Wallhanger --E G --some times when going perching after limit is filled , could produce a big fish --It is Designed so if you would like a dinner fish for yourself or the mate, you can have one to eat --geo
