Take a look at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center website fishing reports for the last two days. They are nailing over 30lb stripers. Evidently many big stripers are passing up the CBBT and headed directly to NC.

Thats strange...I'm sure they're at CBBT also....might be time to run south..

These fish are coming out from the sounds and are being caught on the bar in the inlet using eels. A very exciting way to fish for them. I've seen several boats swamped in the past few years.:rockon:

You need to see the shoals off NC first hand to understand how dangerous it can be.Many boats get flipped over and each year a few fishermen drown.Picture 6-10 foot standing waves and boats fishing 50 feet away.One mistake or motor trouble and you are in big trouble fast.
