I just ordered some Food Source Carp Candy. They look mighty tasty. Wondering if anyone has tried them (for carp, not human consumption)?

I've tried other foodsource products and was impressed. But I prefer Gulp. The plastic worms I've used for stripers (goliath grub) was very hard and almost dried out but some other baits like their maggots worked very well for pan fish and steelhead. I'm excited about the carp baits. The Carp Candy is about the size of a nickel, much larger than I had thought, which is good.
Other baits I've used for carp with success is Magic dough being number one but I can't find it anymore. Plus corn and some concoctions I've made with vanilla extract but that stuff is expensive and the dough balls I've made with them never held together very well.
I'm on a giant school of carp near a warm water discharge that I'm eager to fish for this weekend. Problem is, there is a lot of boat traffic on the weekends there. The jet boats fly through this area spooking the carp. I tried for Smallmouth and muskie there last weekend and came up empty. So now I'm going for those nasty bottom feeders that can't fight worth a darn. :cool2:
I'm taking some kids with me this weekend to see if I can get them on the biggest fish of their lives. Looking forward to it actually, just hope my two year old doesn't want to go swimming.
