Fished the CBBT Thurs, Fri and half day Sat with Simon on his 23 Seacraft. The fish keep on coming south. Most of the time we fly fished but we also caught some on light tackle.

Many VA fisherman seem to want to keep fish and few seem to be interested in C & R. Most boats are trolling the ocean inside the three mile line. Pressure in the bay is extremely light this time of year. With the coming cold snap, not sure how long the fish will be near the bridge/tunnel.

Simon's 46" caught on a Wildeye bottomed his 30 # Boga. Not sure of the weight but I would estimate 38 to 40 pounds. Too heavy for us seniors to hold for long. It took two thumbs for me to land him.

This warm weather has provided great opportunities for those who fish the bay and ocean in winter.

Saw very few other fly fishers this trip.

Here are a few pics.
