Fished a open boat trip on the Jil Carrie, trolled all day caught 16 fish an 11 of them caught in an hour, slow day at best with the biggest being 37in's and all the fish but maybe two were skinny like spring fish,we marked bait all day long and Gannet's hitting the water the whole day no beehives but plenty of birds, and these fish aren't feeding I cleaned 6 fished and the only thing in any were just some bones so none had feed in a couple days,

Now back at the dock I saw eight fish from the high rise caught on eels up to 47lbs and the smallest around 30lbs these fish were footballs bloated bellys looking like they going to pop, also saw a couple guys on a 31 ft Cape Horn bring back a big yellow fin tuna,
seems a little funny with all the bait why the ocean fish aren't feeding...

my buddy with a 36in fish...

He was saying the stomach contents were just a few bones... as in the fish, for some reason, wasn't gorging itself on all the available bait.

Nice 3rd post.
