Tournament Rules

Fish must be brought in by the boat registered for the tournament past the committee boat by 3pm.

Try the rules again. I think there was a problem with the site and it has been fixed.

CCA VA Tourney Overall Results

It was a extremely successful tournament with a very good turn out.

On Friday evening the hull shop was full. Folks were buying tickets for the generous raffle items incuding several large lure boards, trolling rods with reels, nautical artwork, etc. They were also bidding on great silent auction items including marine radios, binoculars, mojos, parachute rigs, etc. There were about 40 corporate entries and over 50 regular entires for a total of 92 boats.

Saturday afternoon, we had over 40 fish weighed in. Of the 6 money winning places in the regular class, the fish were all citations with the first place at 50.25 and the sixth place just over 40 lbs. Specific results should be available on our website soon.

Special thanks to our major sponsors:

Norview Marina
Zimmerman Marine
Sparks & Allen Custom Homes-Herman Allen Plumbing
Chesapeake Angler Magazine
Sportsman Magazine
Southeastern Marine
Lateral Line Clothing
Chesapeake Lures
The Lead Man

Thanks to everyone that turned out for the 15th annual CCA VA Rockfish Tournament to help make this another successful event. As always the monies raised will go to help protect and restore the fisheries of the Chesapeake Bay & the Tidal Rivers of Virginia.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at next year's event December 5th 2009

Tight Lines & Happy Holidays,
