I am planning a trip to Mt. Pleasant, SC this spring and would like to fish. Either March or April would be possible. Which month would be better and what fish will be available then? Also, are shrimp and blue crabs in the rivers in catchable numbers? I live in Pa. hate the ice, snow and cold so any help and info you SC sportsmen can give me would be appreciated. I have cabin fever!!!!:fishing2:

I hate to tell you this Bistro,,,,But the party starts in May here in Charleston,SC.
You will have small red drum action in the shallow water flats,,but thats about it.
You need to look for water temps in the high 60's or the low 70's,,,But ya never know what mother nature will throw at ya. No shrimp and very little crabs.
Good luck,,,,and sorry for the bad news........................
