Anybody know if the public ramp in Charlestown has reopened and also if there is open water on the river? Like to take a ride down tomorrow and maybe give a try for perch or crappie. Thanks!

Last I saw, there were still some bergs & (big) sheets of ice floating around. I can look this evening & will post if I remember.

Not open yet. i think it is supposed to open next week. Not sure about the ice.

Perryville ramp is open. Ya just need to go down to town hall and get a permit.

Ramp is closed until the 15th of Feb per the sign...NE River is open and clear of ice and the same for down the bay...A real beauty out there today...

We put in there coupla weeks ago when it was snow'n one day. They threw some salt park'n lot n ramp. Go get a sticker n take your shovel n bag of salt with ya in case of extreme measures. The town prolly ain't gonna refuse your money.

Last couple evenings going home on Rt.40 I've seen a few small boats fishing under/near the railroad bridge near Garrett Island on the P-ville side. Perching?

I am curious what is involved with getting a launch permit from perryville? What do I need to do? And when is the town hall open?
