Searching around on Craigslist and found this . Incredibly low prices on bank and bass casting sinkers . The guy is in PA not too far north of the MD line . Thought I would pass it on as it's really a great deal and he has a great selection of sizes . Bank and Bass Caster Sinkers

No , it's a bell sinker with swivel or "teardrop" . These are the cheapest prices I've evr seen , better than wholesale .

That's what I'm saying ! As much as I use 6 to 12oz leads for ocean bottom fishing , it might be worth the ride . Cabelas is not to far from there and I've never been . Might have to take a ride and stock up .

Brad & Sons' store on eBay is currently having a "sale" and comes in at ~$0.12 an ounce. Shipping isn't too bad if you buy a lot.

The Hamburg Cabelas store is a show for sure. I went there yesterday to poke around. Great place. Not as much fishing stuff as BPS but Cablaas aquarium is to BPS's what BPS's is to my bait tank.

--Hey , Ray Those old wheel weights usta make a lotta slag , But still a sinker is a sinker --How about ole sparkplugs , Never hang bottom , but in this day & age Equipment & condition of it is Primary --geo.

Be careful. I purchased a lot of sinkers at a good price from the Pasadena show a couple of years ago. I don't know who I got them from. This fall I needed to replenish my supply on the boat. Just for kicks I weighted them on a digital scale. The 1 or 2 ounce sinkers were right on, but the 16 ounce and up were all 3 ounces lite. Now I know that 3 ounces is not much but it adds up. Most importantly you may not be trolling as deep as you think.

All I want is some larger bank sinkers up to and over 12oz for ocean wreck fishing . At the price the guy is advertising , how can I go wrong ?

You better bring a big truck to make it worthwhile............considering about $70.00 in fuel costs, plus tolls , another $8-10-bucks, I'd think you coming from Salisbury for a one-way 5 1/2-6 hr. drive it could be costly, unless you're buying about a ton of sinkers, or three lifetimes worth of the stuff ? ? ?

I spoke with the guy and he is very cool . He will ship up to 50lbs for $10.00 .:thumbup:
