While looking up some data in the Washington State Fish and Wildlife website, I found this great video of fish and other animals suffering from lack of oxygen in the Hood Canal portion of Puget Sound.

Please note that the fish here were found in fairly shallow water. Water with oxygen. When I fished there, the shrimp for instance were only caught in water deeper than 200 feet and the rockfish were always past the 50 foot mark.

I can just imagine how things look in our own Bay when oxygen gets down low.
