Ran out solo toward C/R buoy at 10:30 AM and put out a 6 rod spread at 45'....2 tandems, 2 storm type umbrellas and 2 large umbrellas....worked east/west near C/R and slightly south....not much action for a while but had this rouge wave (from a large ship) visit me...

Worked back and forth a couple times and finally found some smaller grade of fish on western side in 42'. Caught 5 rockfish between 22" and 25" - all of them on storm type umbrellas. Could not find anything larger today. water temp was right at 50. Called it a day at 1:30 PM since bubba did not seem to be home today in the location I was...
