Chesapeake update

I made it up too late to fish the Toys for Tots tournament due to the fuel pump going out on my truck and having to be towed from South Hill back to Henderson Dodge. I finally came up Saturday afternoon and met Ramrod and Doug at the boat ramp at 2:30. They had their limit and had been playing catch and release while waiting for me to arrive. 30 minutes after we started our first drift I had a :bigfish: on. Almost 40lbs but we wanted one bigger so back he went. We wound catching one more but not the pig we were looking for.
Today we went out and not a bite till 12:00 noon. Then 12 sharp the first rod goes down and Doug lands a PIG. Then a 2 1/2 hour dry spell and so we made a move and as soon as the tide turned we caught 3 more fish in 30 minutes. The wind was up so we called it a day. Here are a few pics.

The winners on the Toys for Tots tournament were mostly BISC members.
1st place went to Richard Clegg $2300
3rd place went to Tumbleweed $1,260
5th place Yogi
It only paid the top 4 places but Yogi won a Calcuta so they still won $1,250.00
If our club had registered for the CLUB tournament BISC would have taken the trophy home for a year. We will be fishing it next year weather permiting. Anyway, tight lines all and we'll keep ya'll posted.
