I was trying to figure out Who might gain from that decision.. ( somebody buy stock in net company?)

I will be looking for one also.. Mine is bright green and boy they can see it a mile away! maybe a black net would be easier to get them into.

My buddy got a broken wrist grabbing one before they can be a beast when still green, I gaffed one that was still green an it went nuts took the hatch right off fish box broke the gaff dang near got back in water.

Scoop them up so they lay bent in the net , toss a towel over the eyes & they will lie dormant til you remove the hook . Just be ready to slide 'em in the cooler when they go flat on the deck . Good luck when you go & be safe this holiday weekend !

Sure the opening has to be above average, but when I was looking for a drum/cobia net I was looking for depth. Deep enough so you can scoop, fold the net over and let them thrash beside the boat for a bit. sure, you get wet, but nothing has been broken in the boat since then. For what its worth.
