Not sure what 'crab house' slaw is...but here's a go.
Cabbage...quartered, remove the core, outer parts sliced very thin some of the inner, coarser diced up fine. A little sweet onion diced fine (a little green pepper if you like), carrots grated, a little salt and pepper and celery seed. Mix all this together "dry".
Dressing separate... Marzetti's is a good start but a little too much, I like to cut it 50/50 with mayo...add a little cider vinegar.
You can make your own with yellow mustard, mayo, a little sugar and cider vinegar...
Better the next day.
