Yea, I don't think it would be right to submit a warranty claim for gel coat cracks after that 20 foot launch.

This picture is a few Contender employees running hard, probably near the factory in FL.

I think it's amazing though, and a true test of the boat that the motors did not fall off, and that it landed in one piece, with no fiberglass cracks.

Just out of curiosity, how much do the motors over-rev when you launch like that? I'd imagine they go redline pretty fast without any resistance. Can't be good for them.

Max is a very considerate captain. He takes it slow and easy.

Me, on the other hand, I have 3 speeds - drifting, trolling, and fire-walled.

I've definitely put some gel coat cracks in boats, but that's why we have fiberglass repair guys, right.
