My wife has been battling breast cancer for a little over 4 years. She had a recurrence last spring and spent the spring and summer going through chemo. Her last PET scan in October_08 looked great. The PET scan was repeated yesterday and the cancer is back. We've got all kinds of appointments next week and will no more then.

My wife is an amazing lady and my best friend. Any prayers greatly appreciated.

I'm often reminded that somebody else is always worse off.....and this fits that cliche....was just talking to my neighbor, and good friend, a few weeks ago about how his wife is going thru the very same thing your wife is enduring. I offered my prayers for the best. Just this Wednesday, I passed by his house and two medical units were parked outside. Figuring something had happened to his wife, I gave it a day to quiet down before calling. Called yesterday and the daughter told me her mother had found her dad on the floor.......HE had passed away.

Realizing that's no consolation for what you and yours are going thru, just thought I'd share that story which seems to move me a little closer to you and your wife who are complete strangers. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to you both during another difficult time for each of you and your family.
