Spent most of Veteran's Day [Thank You Vets!] fishing.

Finally caught fish trolling on the new-to-me boat. Learning still, like she doesn't track straight for 10 seconds in a head wind which is a B when fishing alone. Caught 4, 2 12, 1 18 and 1 23. All at the Craig Hill Angle and all in 30 minutes around 1:30. The keeper came on a chrome Tony 17, 6 oz line, back 200 feet on an arch rod. The tip of that rod is 14 feet off the water. I bet that lure was only 2 feet under. The other 3 all hit the top of the same 2/4 white tandem boat rod. Crab pots galore in that area outside the channel.

I heard of a guy trolling live eels, no weight, that caught a lot of fish (few keepers).

The good thing about that area is little traffic. I had birds the last trip but 18 was the biggest I found hiding on the bottom.
