left rudee around 615 and saw a bunch of bait about half a mile to a mile out. decided to try for a little. No Fish.. started to run south about 5 mins later we saw bunch of birds hiting the water so we only put two lines out to see what happens. agian about 5 mins later fish on. nice 35 incher. lines back in the water and i decided to put another pole out with a mojo.(first fish was caught on a strech 25) trolled back threw the same area we caught the first fish nothing trolled the whole morning with only one fish. decided to come in since it got rough out there at about 1030. so we trolled back to rudee. about half way there the pole with the mojo on it goes screaming pick it up fought it for about 10 mins next thing i know the line snaps. i lost that mojo. so ended the day with one fish and couple other knockdowns. i just wounder what could have snap a 100 pound liter to the mojo? maybe i will have better luck next time.

Good on ya! We had a similar day. Left Rudee and turned north, droped lines just before the sun came up. In five minutes we had a 29" in the box. Only one more throw back for the day. Marked fish and bait and saw gannetts everywhere, but no takers.

Sorry to hear the big one got away.
