The DCMSSA chapter had our annual spring trip aboard the Miss Susie out of Solomons yesterday. We were the afternoon trip and were pleasantly surprised by great weather and calm seas. by 3:30 it had really laid down. Capt. Gregg did not disappoint and we had fairly constant action all afternoon. We had 2 triples and several doubles. We limited easily and released a bunch more. Largest fish was 40 1/2 with several over 37.

:rockingreport:Wow! What a great day.
Jeremy and Capt. Greg really picked the right day for the trip. Looks like a lot of happy faces hiding behind all that hanging meat.

Well done guys. Can't wait to hear the rest of the story at the next meeting

Forcast was 20-25 knot winds with gusts to 30. Trees doubled over, and flags stiff as a board the whole drive down to Solomons. I thought we were in for a beating. As soon as we broke the mouth of the river the wind died, the sun came out and the water was just about flat.

Great day fishing with the DCMSSA crew, Capt Greg and Tad. Running 28 lines is a sight to see. We boated a lot of nice fish. Thanks to all who participated. I'm looking forward to the next one. See you guys the first Wednesday in May.

Don't forget to sign up for the spring MSSA Tournament.
