The DC Metro MSSA chapter will meet Wednesday May 5 @ 7:30pm. Captain Joe Riley, well known charter captain of the Muff Diver out of Ocean City, MD will be our guest speaker. Capt Joe will be sharing valuable tips and tricks on Coastal Shark Fishing out of OCMD. This will be an informative and useful presentation for all saltwater anglers. This presentation will be an excellent primer for upcoming Shark Season! Check out the boat here: www.muffdiver.net. BRING A FRIEND!

As usual, we will be sharing fishing reports and tips. We will be discussing our recent charter trip on the Miss Susie with Captain Greg Buckner and MSSA Spring Tournament Results! I'll bring some beverages and chips. Door prizes will be fantastic including some nice parachutes, buck-tails, and offshore lures!

Don't miss the meeting, Wednesday May 5, 7:30pm at 4805 Edgemoor lane, Room A, Bethesda, MD 20814. There is plenty of parking, and the meeting room is only a block from the metro.

Also, the ASMFC will be meeting to discuss Atlantic Menhaden at Old Town Crown Plaza in Alexandria, VA (901 North Fairfax St) May 5, at 2:45pm. The menhaden need your support! MSSA members will be there to voice the opinion that menhaden harvest must be reduced from current levels. Please make a point to attend this ASMFC meeting to show your support.
