Friday we caught some spot at fort carroll. They were small, on fish bites. I took them into Curtis creek and caught our limit of rockfish. As the sun was setting, the rockfish bite stop and we started picking up catfish so we left.

We caught a nice 1.75 bushels of hammer crabs somewhere between Fort Carroll and Havre De Grace one day this weekend. Friends and family were appreciative. Can’t wait to do it again soon,

Couldn’t believe when I heard the price of clams. Nice job. The last time I crabbed they were about 40 a full bushel

Can you let Gary know I made a fishing report and that sometime this week, I’ll probably pick up some spot at fort carroll and take them into Curtis creek and catch some rockfish.

Don’t need clams if you know what you are doing.

I wouldn’t even crab if I didn’t have clams, but I guess times have changed. Knew people that did well on necks and lips, but once I went to clams, I never looked back.

Clams would have helped me last month, further south and east, but didn’t matter up north. The crabs that didn’t get counted in the dredge survey, decided to winter north of Rt. 50.
