Went out on the eastern shore side to find some fish, as reports at cape henry were sparse. Late morning and afternoon bite allowed us to find our limit of big fish. Fish were 42 to 48 inches, largest being 38.5 lbs. Caught in 25 to 30 feet of water 1 to 2 hours either side of slack current.

We caught a few dogfish along the way, but they were safely released to bite someone elses eels on another day. Most dogfish were not even hooked, just had the eel in their mouth.

Here are a few pictures from the day.

Way to go Joe and crew. I was going to go this morning but couldn't put a crew together and didn't feel like a solo trip.
