We are considering a trip to Norfolk Canyon (from Rudee) on Saturday to do some deep dropping. Is anyone else thinking of heading east? Nice to know there might be some company out there this time of year.

Good luck guys. The dogs are everywhere out there. What I found last week though is the dogs fill in the gaps around the tiles. If you are in dogs, move. Once you find the tiles, they are all tiles tight together and it should be good fishing until you hit the edge of the tile colony then you'll crank in dogs again. Once you find tiles, keep fishing hard with as many lines in the water as possible, then once you're back in dogs, repeat the drift until you find the front and back edges of the tile colony. Once you find the 2 edges of a tile colony, you can just keep working that until you get a limit or have enough meat.

"Good deception tactics" I just can't fool you Mike! Seriuosly, we are paper chasing; I leave the Snowies alone for a month or two before we hit them again. We caught some BIGGUNS in January so I won't go back until mid March/April. As much as I love Catching them; I try not to fish them too heavily.
