I can't afford to have a custom enclosure made, so I am attempting to do it myself. I already purchased a new sheet of strataglass (.30 mil) on ebay for $65. What type of canvas should I use to trim out the strataglass with? I have seen "sunbrella" canvas on ebay as well. I believe this is the same canvas on my t-top. Would this work or do I need something a little heavier? I am planning on doing just a three sided enclosure for my CC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

had the same problem. ended up using regular clear shower curtains from lowes. i just set hooks around the hardtop and hung them from the grommets and used cheap spring clamps to hold them to the hull. works like a charm. good luck.

I had to resize all my curtains due to the loss of the bimini. It was really very easy. I used a much older singer 99; Tough machine! I bought replacment Ykk #10 Zippers and the recommended poly thread. I thought it would be a nightmare but careful measureing made it easy.

Now I want to fabricate a fishing / radar arch. I could probably rework a used one, but there not very many used ones available.

Good luck with your curtains.

I posted a while back on my enclosure project. Mine worked like a champ!
I also doubled the clear vinyl and put the snaps through. The doubled part works like a weather-seal and really keeps the air out.

I used cheaper .20 mil, and thought it would be temporary, but it's holding up just fine after a couple of years...

I have the BOMB supplier for the materials... Email me if you are interested.

Sunbralla Pacific Blue

I have at least 30 square yards of this. It's on a roll that is 80 something inches long.... Was given to me from a widow who was married to some marine fabric maker in FL. Nothing wrong with it.... will sell for much cheaper then you'll ever get. It's like new never used,, hell it's still on the roll..... PM me if you are interested... I know this isn't the classifieds but know what you are going through trying to find the right materials and all....
