Wow , almost a dollar each - ouch.

I can remember walking to baitshop - uphill both ways and getting blood worms for $1.00 a dozen. So big - we used a machete to chop them into pieces.

With fuel costs down, thus freight costs down, anybody got an explanation for why bloodworm prices went up?
Because they're available so early?...been some mighty tough Wx where these things are dug.

I gotta say.....for anyone who hasn't been there, Eastern Marine is worth checking out.

It's a man's paradise. It's got everything you'd get from a big box chain, but also has all the other stuff you need that the chains don't carry.

Nice selection of crabbing gear....fishing gear....trailer parts....RV parts.....it's a one stop shop. Also, the customer service is top notch. You won't get very far into the store before someone is asking you if you need any help. Last time I was there (Friday), picking up new trailer hardware, the guy helped me pick out everything I needed and then even loaded my cart as the cashier was ringing up my items....impressive customer service, which I appreciate, and will go out of my way for.

Even my WIFE was impressed. No joke.
