Headed to Hatteras on Saturday from the ES. Gas seems to be cheapest around VA Beach. Where is there an easy in / out, preferably with long hoses. 26" World Cat isn't the largest rig to trailer, but ain't small either. Being a cat, having a fill hose long enough to reach across is a bonus.

Any words of wisdom from the local community. Oh, not worried about finding E-free.

Thanks,

Go to Marina Shores in Virginia Beach. If you are coming across the Bay, go into the Lynnhaven Inlet and make the hard left along the shoreline past the Maritime boats and restaurants. Go past the first set of overpasses and it will be on your port. Maybe a 10 minutes ride once inside.

If yo head into Rudee Inlet, just bear right under the bridge and pick you stop.

Lynnhaven would be cheaper by far.

I think he's on a trailer.

There's a big Wawa (on the left at Diamond Springs light) as well as a truck stop (Charlies--on the right) on Northampton, as well as some others, when you get off the CBBT. Wawa has typical hoses and it can be crowded. Gas along that stretch tends to be cheap. Then you are on your way on the interstate.

Plus Oceans East tackle along there!

Wawa is great but gets a little crowded there so hard sometimes to get to the pump on the side you prefer. If you want to wait a little longer, when you are headed down Rt 168 to the OBX, the last gas station in Virginia is called the Border Stop on the right literally at the state line and they have decent prices and not as crowded. Then its a straight cruise to the OBX

An easy place is right off of the bridge, get off at Shore Drive and there is a Kroger on 100 yards off the exit. There is also a WaWa but it's always pretty crowded.

Another option, make a left on Shore Dr from 13 go less than a block and left at the traffic light for a Sunoco. Easy access with a traffic light and a lot less congestion than Wawa.
