Got a few tog filets? This is an easy and delicious way to whip them up.

What you will need:

Tautog Fillets (I used 2 nice ones from a 19" fish, feeds 2 people)
1 Big lemon wedge
1/3 Stick butter
3-4 Green onions (scallions)
5-7 Mushrooms
Salt to taste
Old Bay


Melt the butter over low heat. Squeeze a lemon wedge into butter and stir. Set aside. Place filets in greased glass baking dish. Chop scallions and mushrooms and place over fish. Pour lemon/butter mixture over fillets. Salt to taste, sprinkle on old Bay. Cover with foil, bake at 375 for about 12-16 minutes or until fish is white and flaky. Serve fish with a side of rice. The mushrooms will absord the lemon flavor, and we pour the onions, mushrooms and juices over the rice. Try it and enjoy!

Also, I made this one time and had some nice crispy leftover bacon, so I crumbled it and sprinkled it on the fillets. Different, but it was pretty darn good
